ABOUT

EJ Newman

My love for health and fitness started when I was young. I played varsity basketball for all 4 years in high school and played 2 years junior college at Virginia Western in Roanoke, VA.
I became a personal trainer because I had a passion for helping people succeed and become a better version of themselves. I became a certified sports performance coach to help athletes achieve their goals of reaching the next level and transform them to become quicker, faster and stronger.
Today, I’ve been fortunate to turn my passion into a thriving profession. In 2013, I started as a volunteer high school strength coach for Green Run High School. Within 6 months the team won their 1st conference championship and in 2014 I was hired by GRHS as the official strength coach for the boy's basketball team. Since 2014, I’ve been working as a qualified Strength Coach and Personal Trainer in the Hampton Roads area, guiding my clients towards a healthier lifestyle.
Through working with a diverse group of clients, I’ve come to realize that everybody is unique, each with their own goals and lifestyle. I will construct a training plan and schedule according to your fitness experience and needs that will have you seeing results in no time.
